October Favourites!

Hello beauties!

I don't think i've done a favourites post since July?! Money's been a bit tight recently in my house for personal reasons so i've really cut down on how much i spend on make-up when i already have enough. So the reason i haven't been doing favourites is because nothing really changed. It still hasn't tbh but I felt like doing a favourites post so here it is! :)
We've been practising facials a lot on my beauty course, meaning we have to take our make-up off, and I'm on of those people that is terrified of seeing people I know when i have no make-up on, i hate my face without it. So after college these have been lifesaver products to just throw on after college to cover any imperfections and make me look less dead basically for when I walk around the town centre haha!

Left to right:
MAC Studio Finish concealer - Covers everything, my favourite concealer i've ever used, its so creamy and easy to blend as well. Doesn't cake on me either. £13.50.
17 Beehive Lipstick - by far the most moisturising and shiny lipstick i own, the pigmentation isn't amazing, but its nice to add a slight bit of something on your lips without having to worry about the colour. Kind of my lips but better but nuder? Haha. Around £4.50 from boots.
Collection 2000 Cream Puff Lip Cream in Angel Delight - I did a post on these where i had the other 3 colours, i was a bit unsure whether to get this colour as i thought it'd look better on darker skin tones because its a dark nude/brown. But it actually looks pretty good on me, i love wearing it with Sleek Suede blush as well, great for autumn. £2.99 from boots or superdrug.
Collection 2000 Lip liner/definer in 5 Damson - No idea why but i have been loving dark vampy purple/burgundy colours recently, its a lip liner but i use its all over my lips, i put a bit on and rub it in because otherwise it can be a bit too 'in your face'. I've been wearing this a lot though, its such a gorgeous colour and suits me well. I wear the 17 beehive lipstick over it or a lip balm underneath so its not as drying. I think this was £2.99 from boots or superdrug.
Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Definer in 024 Red Diva - another lip liner i've been using as a lipstick, gorgeous colour, its more of a pink toned red than a true red, but i love it. Again, I wear the 17 beehive lipstick over it or a lip balm underneath so its not as drying. I can't remember how much this was, but its was definitely under £5 from boots or superdrug.
Bourjois Volumizer Mascara - Possibly my favourite mascara i've ever tried, when I'm in a rush i can put on a few slicks of the step 2 (the one that has more product) and I'm good to go! Absolutely love it, definitely need to repurchase it, its lasted me about 3 months as well. I got this for £5.99 in an offer that boots had on a while back, i think its around £7-10 usually.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - Another thing from Bourjois i will definitely repurchase. Makes me look so healthy and glowing. The coverage is medium but buildable because i find it never looks cakey on me. It lasts a while on me, but could last a lot longer with a primer. I'm running out as well so i need to get more! Can not get enough of this foundation. Around £10 from boots or superdrug.
MAC Eye Kohl in Smoulder - Used this for ages now, i've had 2 in the past 2 years but i think eye liners tend to last a while anyway. Perfect to create a smoky eyes, smudges quite easy though but it always stays in my waterline. Its just really soft and easy to use, when I'm in college i smudge it on my upper lash line as well. £13 from MAC.
Sleek Suede Blush - Perfect autumn blush in my opinion, the perfect peachy brown with slight pink undertones. Stay on well as well, but i suppose that can depend on what foundation you have on as well. Around £4.50 from superdrug.

  6. Really like the look of that blush. I've recently bought a couple from the MUA range at Superdrug and they're really lovely especially at a quid a piece, so they're my current fave make up thing :)
